Gail Tilden, who joined Nintendo in 1983 and later became editor-in-chief of Nintendo Power before rising to VP of brand management, has given a new interview to Retro Gamer magazine. In it she discusses the less enjoyable parts of her Nintendo Power career, including having to promote products she personally disliked. She singles out the Virtual Boy, saying the red-screened headset reminded her of visiting the eye doctor. Tilden also helped launch the NES in North America and later played a role in bringing Pokémon to Western markets.
