Games That Weren't has written up "City by the Lake", a very early Atari 2600 demonstration made by Western Technologies as a technical showcase. What survives is a short looping animation of a jet flying across a landscape, with a city's reflection shimmering in the water below, and no gameplay. A 2026 academic paper on early development prototypes documented it.
