The project explores an alternate design direction for Pokémon Red and Blue's gameplay systems and engine, adding cosmetic and quality-of-life changes alongside non-canon alterations to moves, types, Pokémon and maps. The creator has said they tried to keep the changes from straying too far from the original feel of the games.
