The MorphOS development team has released MorphOS 3.21, focused on stability, security and performance improvements alongside some new components. The update introduces BasicWorks, an office suite made up of CellBasics and PageBasics for document and spreadsheet work that can load and save Microsoft Office and OpenOffice files. It also adds NVMEMount, an auto-mounter for booting from and mounting NVMe partitions, plus new Marbles and Cyber 3D blankers. Graphics performance has been improved with a faster Radeon driver, quicker TinyGL texture copies, hardware accelerated antialiased text and faster SVG glyph rendering, and the Bcm43xx wireless driver has been substantially reworked. MorphOS is an operating system that runs on PowerPC hardware and in emulation, aimed at Amiga-derived systems.
