ACube, known for the AmigaOS 4 Sam440 and Sam460 motherboards, has announced completion of a new PowerPC motherboard called Tyche, developed with powerpc-notebook.org. It uses an NXP T2080 processor with four dual-threaded e6500 cores clocked up to 1.8 GHz on a Micro ATX board compatible with standard PC cases, and ACube is now seeking support to produce further prototypes.
