Developer Retrodnagames has released a fan-made Amiga port of Capcom's 1984 arcade vertical shooter 1942. The game was coded entirely from scratch in AsmOne assembly language, rebuilding all 32 stages of the original rather than emulating it. The project emphasises smooth scrolling and an old-school approach to recreating the arcade experience on Commodore's 16/32-bit machine.
