Humanbrew’s Elias Daler to Build AI-Free PS1 SDK

Elias Daler, co-founder of the Humanbrew Discord community and a known Dreamcast and PlayStation homebrew developer, has announced plans to build a new PlayStation 1 Software Development Kit from scratch. The project is being described as "100% AI-free" and will be written in C++. Daler has previously contributed PlayStation mod projects to the homebrew scene and has said they would be pleased to eventually see something like the game Yume Nikki running on the new SDK. The PlayStation 1, released by Sony in 1994, remains a popular target for homebrew developers decades later.
