A fan developer known as Variant Hoop has released Pokémon Neo Ultra on PokeCommunity, a difficulty-focused ROM hack built on Pokémon Ultra Sun. The hack reworks the Pokédex with more than 100 new forms and new Mega Evolutions, giving many Pokémon significant stat buffs. It is described as being inspired by Elite Redux and places heavy emphasis on team building and tough battles throughout the Alola region.
