Pokémon Re:Y Hack Adds 100+ Mega Evolutions

A fan developer has released Pokémon Re:Y, a remade version of Pokémon Y built to reinvigorate the original game after years of replaying it. The hack introduces more than 100 Mega Evolutions for players to choose from, expanding well beyond the handful available in the original 3DS release. The creator explains the project grew out of a long personal history with Pokémon Y, which they first completed in 2016 and had replayed several times before losing interest. Pokémon Y, released in 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS, was the first mainline Pokémon game to introduce Mega Evolution.
