A limited edition replica of the Sonic the Hedgehog Mega Drive cartridge has gone on sale for under £30. The item recreates the look of the original 1991 Sega release, aimed at Sonic fans and collectors who want a display piece or memorabilia rather than a playable cartridge. Sonic the Hedgehog was the Mega Drive/Genesis launch title that established Sega's mascot and helped define the console's identity in the early 1990s.
