Toaplan has launched a clothing range that pays tribute to the "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" meme, which originated from the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive port of the company's shoot-'em-up Zero Wing. The meme, based on the game's awkwardly translated opening cutscene line "How are you gentlemen!!", became one of the earliest widely recognized internet memes over 25 years ago, reportedly even gaining coverage in a British newspaper at the time. Zero Wing, originally an arcade game, is best remembered today for this cultural footnote rather than its gameplay.
