Wayfarer Browser for MorphOS Updated to Version 12.0

Jacek Piszczek has released version 12.0 of Wayfarer, his web browser for MorphOS. The update is based on WebKitGTK 2.52.5 and comes in a standard version with a JIT compiler and a Wayfarer-Light version without JIT, media playback or GL rendering. A key change is the move to the Skia graphics library, which the developer says brings significant speed gains on Radeon R300 to R500 series graphics cards via Skia-GL. The release also adds PowerPC optimisations, JavaScript JIT improvements, better YouTube support, a lighter-weight web audio system, gamepad support, and the ability to pass Cloudflare's Turnstile check.
