Whatever Happened to Amiga’s PowerOS Project?

Claus Herrmann has given an update on PowerOS, the 1999 project aiming to create a PowerPC-based AmigaOS clone with 68k emulation for A4000 and A1200 accelerator cards. The project was abandoned in 2000, briefly revisited for a PC port in 2005, and Herrmann now reveals its code found a new use in an ESP32-S3 microcontroller project for a photovoltaic/battery system.
