CopperByte Games has released ArcGuard 1.0, a free Amiga archive manager modelled on tools like WinZip and 7-Zip. It scans files, including decrunched ones, for viruses before writing them to disk, supports formats like LhA, LZX, Zip, DMS, Tar and GZip, and adds features such as drag-and-drop packing, ARexx support and DMS-to-ADF conversion. It runs on Workbench 2.04 with a 68000 CPU, though 7-Zip support needs a 68040/68060 with FPU.
